The Virginia General Assembly has approved the scuba diver license plate (see the sample to the right). The next step is to collect 350 applications to begin the process of making the plates. Ann McGrath is spearheading this effort and is collecting applications, along with payments, and has indicated in her February 2001 update that she currently has 300 applications. Only 50 more applications are needed, and then they can be presented to the Virginia General Assembly. The cost is only $10 for a numbered plate and $20 for a personalized plate. Contact the DIVEMASTERS Association for forms or on Ann's web site located at: http://www.geocities.com/anniemcg56/ann.html
