At our April meeting, a motion was presented to move our meetings from the first Tuesday to the first Wednesday of the month.
The motion was carried and beginning with our May meeting, we will begin meeting on the first Wednesday of the month.
Our next club meeting will be on May 4. Please review the new schedule shown to the right.

The bill authorizing the plates has been passed and awaits only the Governor's signature. Once signed, it will make these plates available to us starting the 1st of July provided that the required 350 applications are submitted.
Marty DeReus (martyd@seadevildivers.net) at Dive Connections is spear heading the effort to collect the 350 applications and has said "We're very very close."
When the initial effort was made to get the plates authorized, applicants were informed to submit their applications along with checks made out to the DMV.
Now the DMV has requested that only one check be submitted along with the 350 applications.
As a result all previously submitted applications and checks have been returned. If you previously submitted an application and did not receive it and your check, please contact Marty DeReus @ (804) 964-9200 or by email.
A new application is available and must be submitted along with your check for $10 for regular plate numbers and $20 for personalized plates. Please make checks payable to Dive Connections License Plate Fund.
