DMAV First Annual New Year's Day Polar Dive

Many of our members ushered in the 2005 New Year with an invigorating shore dive on the Triangle Wrecks at Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina.  The water temperature was a balmy 43⁰ , so 6 / 7 mil and dry suits were the order of the day.  With hot dogs, chips, and plenty to drink between dives, everyone had a good time and are looking forward to next year!

2004 Photo Contest

This year's photo contest was not held at our Christmas Party due to low contest submissions this year.  With the rough weather last year, we realize that many dive trips were canceled, but we would like to remind everyone that submissions to the photo contest are not limited to photographs taken during the previous dive season.  Photographs taken in previous years may also be submitted.

This year, Underwater Adventures will provide a Grand Prize of a 3 day / 2 night vacation giveaway!

So pack those camera's in your dive bags and go though those old photographs.  We've got a new dive season and twelve months to prepare for the next Photo contest.  One of the photographs you have just might be the lucky winner!
