Lent begins today, 'tis a sad time of the year
I can't believe that you are not here.
As I sit on the deck and hear the Sea
It is your voice, speaking to me.
You told stories of diving in places far away
I never realized you would go and I would stay
The waves call out with a steady roll
They seem to pull at my heart and soul.
I hear you say, "I love you Glor"
You told me that I was a "Dinasour"
The tears never end, no more can I cry,
so I will end this dear Bobby, with my final Goodbye!
The memories of you , I shall give to the Sea
As the swells of the water take you from me.
Oh how I loved you, the pain will not cease-
God please let my little brother's Soul rest in peace.

Dear Chris and Takara.
The thoughts of me, my family and staff at SI TECH are with you.
After 30 years of friendship it is hard say farewell to a friend. Bob's superior diving skill did encourage me to make developments beyond belief. I thank you Bob for all the times we spent together and all friends you introduced me to.
I pray we will find each other on the other side.

Uncle Bob
You will be missed by all of us. I hold special memories of my childhood and few later on during our last few visits together.
Like the time I drove you into the city, and you mentioned you rather wrestle with a shark than go 80 mph in a car, by the way we were going 85.
God did created a sea in heaven just for you.

It is with great sadness that the Board of Directors of Lake Rawlings acknowledges the passing of Bob Shourot from this life as we know it. To the family of Bob, his lovely wife Chris and beautiful daughter Takara, all sympathy to you for the loss of your loved one.
Bob was a great man, and a kind man. He was an ambassador of diving, and a loyal patron of Lake Rawlings. I have known Bob since he first came to the Hampton Roads area. He was a solid citizen, and always available to help whenever called upon.
We will miss him dearly, and our prayers go with the family, and Bob's close friends and associates, for their loss.
In memory of Bob, we are all blessed to have known him. He was a wonderful, kind person that we all loved dearly, and shall always remember in fondness.

A Great man and a Great friend. His spirit will always dive with me and keep me and others safe.
Chris please know that Bob is not gone. He is in a better place and he is able to keep an eye on all of us now. He will provide all of us with the love, guidance, inner peace, and friendship he gave to everyone.
