In addition to familiar faces, we have a new comer to the roster of officers,

From the desk of Christine Ford

Hello, from your recently elected vice-president.  Being the newcomer to the DMAV elected officials, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Christine Ford.  I was born and raised  in  Barre  (pronounced berry), Vermont.

I received PADI open-water training in New Hampshire and completed my certification dives in 45 degree water temperatures off the coast of York, Maine in May 1997.

I am currently a Security Forces journeyman in the Air Force.

My diving experience includes both fresh and salt water diving in New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and Curacao.

I am currently working toward a NAUI Advanced certification (just need to take the test), then possibly Dive Master.

My main goal for the DMAV is to expand our membership and club activities.

Suggestions are always appreciated.

See you underwater!
