Congratulations to all the 2000 club officers!

At our June meeting Bob Shourot presented a slide show to club members depicting many very interesting images and stories relating to his extensive career in commercial diving.

Bob showed us pictures of the Viking suit and gear which he designed and used for the first nuclear reactor

dives ever made.

We also viewed stunning underwater images taken by Bob of Naval destroyers as they passed just 20 feet away from him while running at flank speed.

These series of images helped the Navy perform hydrodynamic flow studies to determine sound patterns that were

instrumental  in making  the quietest submarine hunters in the world.

Fascinating photos of a raised cruise liner that sank in port, due to a fire, depicted Bob's successful salvaging work.

All the members of the DIVEMASTERS Association would like to thank Bob for all of his work in preparing his very inter

esting and informative presentation..  Thanks Bob!
