Scuba Rangers Program for young folks interested in diving

Scuba Schools International (SSI) has developed the most innovative scuba program for children ever.  The program, called Scuba Rangers, is a perfect way to build tomorrow's divers by getting children ages 8-11 interested in snorkeling and scuba diving.

There are five fun-filled Ranger levels:  Red, White, Blue, Silver, and Demo, where the children practice basic scuba skills and  learn to  dive under the  supervision  of SSI Instructors.  Upon reaching Demo Ranger, the children proudly demonstrate their underwater skills to family and friends.

Scuba Rangers is also an activities club, where the children return frequently to the dive facility for more fun.  Rangers participate in pool "specialties" such as navigation, photography, and "night" diving.  Rangers take field trips to aquariums, movies and confined water for snorkeling and SASY (Supplied Air Snorkeling).  SSI Dive Leaders supervise all Scuba Ranger water activities.

If you have young family members that are interested in joining the Scuba Rangers program, please contact Jim Cook at 877-8722 or Chris Shourot at 826-3945.
