The U85 in Cape Hatteras is booked up

The dive boat, Bayou Runner, out of Cape Hatteras NC is booked up through the beginning of September and is not available for our planned July 20-21 trip.   We are looking into the availability of the Bayou Runner in late September and will announce at our next club meeting any rescheduled dates for this exciting trip.

We are also planning on a 2003 dive trip to the U85 and would like to book up the trip this year to reserve the Bayou Runner early.  Dates are July 19-20 and Sept. 13-14.

If you are interested in signing up for a U85 dive trip in 2003, please contact Christine Shourot for more information on this trip.

Jim Cook, 2002 Club President

Jim Cook, our Club President, is recovering well from his recent planned surgery, and the DMAV would like to thank all of its members for their concern and well wishes.  We all look forward to Jim's continued guidance and leadership of the club and wish Jim a speedy recovery.
