Christmas is coming… Ho Ho Ho

At our September 6 meeting, the date for our 2001 Christmas party was set for Saturday, December 1, 2001.  It is sure to be a fun time and is a great opportunity to enjoy the diving stories of the 2001 dive season.  As always, we will have our annual photography contest, so start picking out those pictures.  Information  on the contest and the location of the Christmas party will be in next month's newsletter.

DMAV Sponsorship Drive

One of the many benefits to being a member of the DMAV are the sponsor benefits offered to club members.  Benefits such as discounts on goods and services, as well as discounts on travel and club trips.

Our primary club sponsor is Underwater Adventures who provides us the many benefits listed above.   As new sponsors to the club would increase the benefits to club members, the DMAV is beginning a sponsorship drive to solicit new club spon

sors.  In return for their support, our club sponsors receive many benefits themselves

Advertising space in both our monthly emailings and newsletters.  Web site links from the DMAV web site to their web site and even space on the DMAV server for a single web page if the sponsor does not already have a web server.

Being a "Discount Service Provider" sponsor for the DMAV can provide many of these

benefits without requiring direct contributions.
Let us know if you or someone you know would like to be a club sponsor.

Please see our web site for additional information .

DIVEMASTERS welcomes new members

The DIVEMASTERS Association is very pleased to welcome to its membership roster Lori Scott.  Lori is a snorkeler who is interested in becoming a diver.  Lori is currently enrolled in Christopher Newport university taking courses in the nursing curriculum.

Make sure to take a moment at our next dive club meeting to welcome our newest

member to the dive club.
Renewal stickers for your membership cards will be mailed in the near future.  Attach these stickers to the back of your membership card to keep your card current.

Membership cards issued this year are already valid through 2002 and will not

require a renewal sticker.
