2002 Annual Photography Contest

The DIVEMASTERS Association annual photography contest is right around the corner, but there is still time to take that winning shot!
At our 2002 annual Christmas Party, the entrants for the 2002 Photography contest will be judged and prizes awarded. Our submission rules have been ratified this year to make it even easier for all club members, divers and snorkelers alike to participate in the contest. See page 3 for our new rules.

Thanksgiving Day Dive Trip to Freeport, Bahama!

|
|
|
|
|
DIVEMASTERS Association members can sign up for a Thanksgiving Day Weekend trip to Grand Bahama. The $849.00 trip includes a 6 dive package, airfare from Richmond, and accommodations at the Pelican Bay.
Departure is Thursday, November 28, and returning Monday, December 2. Don't delay signing up for this trip. As did the Labor Day trip, this one is sure to sell out soon. Contact Chris Shourot at 826-3945 to sign up.

DMAV Raffle Kitty is growing!

|
Each club meeting now includes a raffle that club members may participate in. Raffle tickets cost $1 per ticket (or 3 tickets for $2). All funds from the raffle are placed in the Raffle Kitty.
At the end of each meeting, a raffle ticket is drawn, and the lucky holder of that ticket stub wins $10.
In addition, the winner selects one card at random from a deck of cards. If they select the Queen of Hearts, they win half of all the monies in the Raffle Kitty. If the Queen of Hearts is not drawn, the selected card is discarded from the deck . Both the deck and the Raffle Kitty are saved for next month's lucky winner.
Last month's winner was Jeri Campana, but the Queen eluded her so the kitty is still growing. Make sure to attend our next meeting, and you could be the next lucky winner!

Morehead City Dive Trip Scheduled for the Weekend of October 5 and 6

A DMAV dive trip out of Morehead City, N.C. is scheduled for October 5 & 6. Dive site selection is dependent on weather but will be the "Club's Choice."
